A former boss once said that I attack the tasks like a frothing lion. There is probably some truth to this because I find it easy to engage in diverse issues and tasks, and this gives me energy and perseverance.
As a child I taught myself to play basic pop music on the keyboard. I was not that great a talent, but I was able to hear when I was playing false and I kept on trying until I got it right. I think I have this "musicality" in my professional work, and I do not give up before I get it right.
When I played soccer, I was midfielder whose primary function is the creation of links between defense and attack. I also feel good in this role in my professional life where I am often the link different functions and levels of the company.
One night when I was out dancing salsa, I was told by my dance partner that I lead in a 'gentle' and precise manner. I also believe that I lead projects this way because I think it important that the participants know where to go and that this is communicated with empathy and humor.
As a teengager I was interested in mopeds. I went to the library and borrowed books and learned how the 2- and 4-stroke engines are working. This way I was able to repair the mopeds and make them run better. In my professional life, I also have this curiosity and desire to understand phenomena and contexts.
